Add the actual selected box prices in cents
The three selected reference amounts are 949,1299 and 1679 cents. One box of each totals 3927 cents, or $39.27. The tool converts valid decimal-price strings to integer cents before comparing a credit with the merchandise base. A binary floating-point mismatch therefore does not decide whether a credit exactly equal to the selected subtotal should be accepted.
Allow equality and reject one cent too much
A confirmed merchandise-only credit of $39.27 leaves zero merchandise for the reference basket. A credit of $39.28 is unresolved because it exceeds that base. This is arithmetic validation, not proof that a coupon or account credit qualifies at the retailer. The site does not automatically apply a multi-buy banner, subscription price or membership discount to a different selected basket.
Keep actual separate charges after credit
If shipping is explicitly quoted as $4.99, full merchandise credit does not remove that charge. Tax and other charges also need explicit values, including confirmed zeros, before a full entered total is shown. Blank charges remain unknown. A fractional-cent charge is not rounded into an apparently complete quote. The calculator does not determine tax law, delivery eligibility or whether the seller accepts an entered credit.
Check a meaningful decimal boundary
Two explicit user-entered $47.99 offers produce $95.98. Full credit of $95.98 leaves zero, while $95.99 is rejected. Three ten-cent items produce thirty cents. These are calculation test inputs, not observed coffee prices. Money allows at most two fractional digits and rejects blank, negative, scientific-notation or out-of-range inputs. Selling counts are validated separately as whole boxes; stock and compatibility are not inferred from arithmetic.
Keep shipping after merchandise reaches zero
A full $39.27 credit on the actual reference basket leaves zero merchandise. If actual shipping is entered as $4.99 with all other charges explicitly zero, the entered total remains $4.99. Blank tax is still unresolved. That behavior prevents an apparent free delivered order from being manufactured by the calculator, while retaining exact integer-cent arithmetic for the selected merchandise and one-cent excess-credit boundary.
